Sunset Cottages are located in Travellers Rest, Prince Edward Island, conveniently only minutes from downtown Summerside and Kensington for shopping, restaurants, taking in local events and music, and exploring historic attractions.

Our cottages are 20 minutes from Confederation Bridge, 30 minutes from Cavendish, and 45 minutes from Charlottetown, PEI's capital city. In between, you'll find beautiful beaches and parks, world-class golfing, rich history, fantastic food and music, scenic trails and country drives, and so much more.

At Sunset Cottages you're never far from fun and food, sandy beaches and gorgeous scenery. Conveniently, you'll also find within minutes of our location: shopping, a hospital, the Confederation Trail, gas stations, cafés, restaurants, gyms, and local attractions.

Located at PEI's narrowest spot, Summerside is considered the province's second city after the capital, Charlottetown. Quaint shopping districts, the famed Harbourfront Theatre, beautiful beaches and a variety of restaurants make Summerside worth a visit.

Centrally located, it makes a terrific base from which to explore PEI as it is a gateway to the western regions of the island, with both the Confederation Trail and North Cape Coastal Drive running through the area. The city celebrates its connections to the sea and Celtic and Acadian ancestry, and is home to the world-famous College of Piping.
